TOMÁS RUíZ
After a 15-year career as a professionally trained football player, Tomás transitioned into coaching. He began his coaching journey as an assistant with the Selección Andaluza SUB15, where he had the opportunity to help develop top-level players such as Sergio Ramos (former Real Madrid and Spanish national team star), Javi López (Espanyol and Real Betis), Isidoro (Real Betis), and Moyano (Real Valladolid), all of whom went on to play in Spain’s top division.
More than a coach, he is a developer of players, focused on technique, intelligence, discipline and long-term growth.

MEET OUR HEAD COACH
Early football journey
Tomás Ruiz began playing football at the age of 11, joining a youth football environment linked to Real Madrid C.F. Youth Academy System, where he developed within a highly competitive Spanish football system.
He spent over 15 years in Spanish football, building the technical and tactical foundation that defines his coaching identity today.
From player to coach
After a 15-year playing career, Tomás transitioned into coaching.
He began as assistant coach with the Andalusian Football Federation U15/U16 regional team, working in elite youth development environments.
During this stage, he contributed to the development of players who later reached professional football, including Sergio Ramos, Javi López, Isidoro and Moyano.
Elite youth development
He was involved in early talent identification and player development processes.
This includes working with players such as Sergio Ramos, Javi López, Isidoro and Moyano during their formative stages in Spanish football.
Coaching in Spain
He later worked as a head coach across Spanish and Moroccan football, managing IRT Tanger (Morocco First Division), Hilal Nador (Morocco Second Division), Brenes FC (Spanish Regional Preferente division), UPP Plasencia, CP Monasterio (Spanish Third Division), and Arahal FC (Andalusian First Division). He scouted in Interfootball Management S.L.
Alongside his coaching career, he served as a Scout for Interfootball Management S.L., identifying talent across Andalusia and Northern Morocco.
He developed teams across different competitive levels, adapting his methodology to each context.
Cañada Blanch Football School
Since 2012, Tomás Ruiz has led Cañada Blanch Football School in London where he applies a Spanish Technical–Tactical methodology adapted to British youth football.
